About Randi Bagley

Randi Bagley is an SEO Specialist and AI Search Strategist at Evergreen Digital, working from West Michigan.

She got online in 1997 at eleven and a half years old, in the era of dial-up modems and AOL discs in every magazine, and never really left. The career came later. In 2013 she was working as a tow truck dispatcher, taking calls from people having the worst day of their week, and started teaching herself SEO in the gaps between them. No degree, no certification, no mentor handing over a playbook. She read, tested, broke things, rebuilt them, and did it again for the next eleven years.

Today her work covers AI search visibility, local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization, link building, and the technical cleanup underneath sites that were built fast and never maintained. Since 2020 a large share of that work has been for cannabis dispensaries and CBD brands, an industry banned from most advertising platforms, where organic search has to carry the whole business. That constraint shaped how she works. When paid traffic is off the table, nothing gets to be decorative.

Her current focus is how generative search systems select and cite sources. She has been through enough algorithm shakeups to recognize the pattern underneath the panic. The delivery method changes and the fundamentals hold.

Alongside agency work she built CannaMapR, a cannabis business directory that hands out free dofollow links because getting a link in that industry is brutal, and Green Grove Bud, an education site answering the questions people are too shy to ask in a dispensary. She volunteers her digital strategy work for Second Chance Cats of West Michigan.

She plays an unreasonable amount of World of Warcraft and maintains an alt army she refuses to apologize for. There is real overlap between raiding and running search campaigns. Both reward preparation, patience, and people who read the mechanics before they charge in.
